How to Identify an Authentic Certificate or Badge

All valid IASE-issued certificates and badges include:

  • A unique reference number (e.g. CPD-PROV-2025-0042)

  • A clear validity period

  • A QR code linking to this verification page

Certificates or badges missing these elements may not be authentic.

  • What is IASE Verification?

    A process to confirm if a CPD Provider, academic partner or their programs are officially accredited by IASE. 

  • How do I verify a certificate or badge?

    Check that it includes a valid reference number, visible validity period, and QR code linking back to this verification page. 

  • What if I don’t have a reference number?

    No problem. Just use the form to submit the name of the provider or program, and we’ll investigate manually. 

  • How long does manual verification take?

    We aim to respond to all verification requests within 2 business days or less.

  • Can providers display the badge on their website?

    Yes — but only officially approved providers may display the IASE CPD Provider badge with their reference number and active status.
