5 Steps to ESG Certification
ESG is a rapidly expanding field, and many professionals are wondering, “How do I become certified?” Or, how does one become an ESG Expert? ESG experts are in high demand. Certifications from the International Association for Sustainable Economy (IASE®) are globally recognised and can help you advance your career in environmental sustainability. Certification in ESG is beneficial to obtain, from the entry-level ISF/ISB ADVISOR® to the more advanced ISF/ISB SPECIALIST®. Even better, IASE certifications can be obtained online. Evaluate these streamlined steps to ESG certification.
STEP 1:
Choose Your Certification
IASE has created two core ESG certification programs, ISF® and ISB®, each with three levels, ADVISOR, SPECIALIST, and EXPERT, ranging from beginner to expert-level ESG knowledge. Determine which certification level best matches your interests, experience, and career goals.
While ISF® Certification is appropriate for aspiring ESG professionals working in, aspiring to work in, or consulting to financial services companies (e.g. Banking, Insurance, Wealth Management, Investment Management), ISB® Certification is more appropriate for professionals interested in, or involved in all other business sectors.
Once you’ve decided on your certification, you must meet certain minimum requirements in order to obtain it, one of which is passing the relevant IASE’s Board Exams for the appropriate certification program and level.
