Approved CPD activities carry the IASE stamp of credibility, providing assurance to participants, regulators, and employers that your content is relevant, rigorous, and aligned with global ESG competencies.

Step-by-Step Guide to Program Accreditation
Step 1: Program Submission Accredited providers submit individual ESG or sustainability training programs for separate evaluation throughout the year, providing detailed curriculum, content alignment with ESG frameworks, delivery methods, and assessment criteria.
Step 2: Content and Quality Review (ESG ASCEND Framework) IASE rigorously evaluates the program content for relevance, accuracy, depth, alignment with international ESG frameworks, and its effectiveness in achieving stated learning outcomes, guided by our E.S.G. A.S.C.E.N.D. Framework.
Step 3: Engagement and Accessibility Assessment The program is assessed for learner engagement, accessibility, interactive elements, and inclusive design, ensuring high-quality participant experiences.
Step 4: Evaluation and Assessment Analysis IASE reviews the assessment methodologies and evaluation strategies employed by the provider to ensure comprehensive measurement of participant learning outcomes and effectiveness of the training.
Step 5: CPD Points Allocation Upon approval, the program receives an official allocation of CPD points, clearly communicating its value to ESG and sustainability professionals.

What Does CPD Activity Approval Involve?
Eligibility: Only Recognised CPD Providers may apply
Submission: One application per activity. Each must include a syllabus, facilitator CV, duration, delivery method, and assessment details (if applicable)
Evaluation: Our dedicated CPD Committee, made up of global ESG and learning experts, will review each application
Outcome: You will either be approved, or receive clear feedback to revise and resubmit

- How long does CPD Activity Approval last?
Each approved CPD activity is valid for one year from the date of approval. After this period, the activity must be resubmitted for reassessment to ensure continued alignment with evolving ESG standards and learning methodologies.
- Is there a discount for multiple activities?
Yes, we offer bulk submission discounts for recognised CPD Providers who submit multiple activities in the same cycle. Please refer to the pricing section of the application form or contact us directly for a custom quotation.
- Who can apply for CPD Activity Approval?
Only organisations already recognised by IASE Africa as CPD Providers are eligible. You can learn more about the CPD Provider approval process .
- What types of activities can be submitted?
You can submit workshops, online courses, masterclasses, lectures, webinars, or blended formats.
- What happens if my activity doesn’t meet CPD standards?
You will receive detailed feedback and may resubmit after addressing the issues identified by the CPD Committee. We’ll never reject a submission outright. If improvements are needed, we’ll provide constructive feedback aligned with the ESG ASCEND Framework. You’re encouraged to revise and resubmit—at no extra cost.
- How long does the approval process take?
We aim to start each review within 2 weeks. Depending on complexity, turnaround time may vary. During busy periods, reviews may take up to 6 weeks.
- Will each approved activity have a reference number?
Yes. Every approved activity receives a verifiable activity reference number and a digital badge you can proudly display.
- What happens if I make changes to my activity after approval?
We encourage updates in line with new ESG insights or teaching methods. Just resubmit the revised version for reassessment—no extra charge in the case of minor changes needed.
- Is there a fee for each activity submission, and what does it cover?
